Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian have had shot of having their own individual reality spins-offs (“Kim & Kourtney Take New York”, “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami”). Therefore, expectations are looming as to weather Kylie and Kendall Jenner will follow suit to having their own slot on multi-billion entertainment channel E! (the only channel that has A-list reality shows).
The Kardashian/Jenner clique (well whatever you want to call them) have been CCTV’ed on“Keeping with the Kardashians” for 8 years. With the three elder half-sisters growing up, settling down and beginning with new life chapters, I wonder whether the spotlight should be moved towards them.
There are two arguments as to why they should/or shouldn’t have their own show. Proposing reason? Well durr, they’re half-sisters to Kardashians. External from their A-list family bloodline status, they’re fashion entrepreneurs; with their ‘Kendall & Kylie’ clothing line (in collaboration with PacSun). The collection was available for all you cats that envy their oh-my-gosh-I’m-going-fight-to-the-death-to-get-that clothes.
Despite being ambassadors for Seventeen Magazine, Kendall is shifting her identity into the high-fashion world (reminder: that of that nude photo below)…
…her fans hope that she’ll soon be on designer catwalks in the years to come.
Kylie on the other hand, has had fashion highlights with her rock-edge image. Even though she’s still ‘sweet 16’ (an age when you’re in the middle of knowing what your interests are…well, kinda), together the they’re unstoppable. Do they have potential to conquer the fashion world? Yes. I’m assuming their quest is to conquer the four corners of the industry. High fashion and high-street. The legendary Olsen Twins did it so what’s the impossibilities?
Opponents to another Jenner reality? Well, is there any need? Afterall, the allegations of Kendall dating/going out with/in a relationship with upcoming fashion icon Harry Styles (hey, dude won the People’s Style Award at the British Fashion Awards last year and was at the Burberry FROW at London Fashion Week), would suggest to many that it’s best to keep certain personal things private. Plus, many us know that having a reality show isn’t all ‘glitz and glam’– drama and public hate (as always) come into the few circles. Besides, they’re already appearing on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”.
None knows what the future holds for the Jenners external of the Kardashian Family. For now, they’re two fashion entrepreneurs that are unbreakable. The Hilton sisters (Paris & Nicole) are now in their heyday. Girls these are the new sisters-on-the-block that everyone wants to be and dress like.
