Films 2014 – THE DESTINED BLOCKBUSTERS: “300: Rise of an Empire”

Zack Synder returns with his next production (screenplay) debut of Greek-hungry-empire-killing-no-mercy “300 Rise of an Empire”. Lovers of “300” will be anticipated to see the next trials of the superarmy 300 force that had the ability to slaughter millions like meat in minutes (I understand that the descriptions I’ve given are metaphorically graphic in human form so apologies in advance to many).

I’ve seen the trailer and OMG! Why haven’t seen 300 earlier. You can forget about my previous statement ‘…next trials of the super army 300 force…’ because apparently, they’re DEAD…Therefore, you know what’s next now right? The ancient adaption of Darwin’s survival of the fittest. Blood, War and more blood for shelter.

Taking inspiration from Frank Miller’s novel Xerxes, the quest of domination is taken fresh at the waters. With the rise of the Persian empire lead by Xerxes and Artemisia, Greek general Themistokles makes a drastic move by leading the war force in order to unite Greece and repel against the Persian rule.

Reprising their epic roles are Lena Headney as notorious Spartan Queen (“repping” the females) Gorgo, David Wenham as Dilios and Rodrigo Santoro as the lead maffia Persian King, Xerxes.Who only has an empire state of mind. Meanwhile as fans familiarise themselves with their epic favourites. Viewers are introduced to new famous names that they’ve already recognised in other movies: Sullivan Stapleton (“Gangster Squad”), Eva Green (“Dark Shadows,” “Casino Royale”) and Hans Matheson (“Clash of the Titans”).

UK Release date is rumoured to be March 7th. So do go to the cinemas and check it out.
