Intern Diary: First Day at SPEAK

I arrived at the Head Office (which is at the bottom of a Community Church) at 9:45 as the nearest station is at Haggerston.

I recieved a nice welcoming from Sarah Henderson. She’s so nice that she even gave me an day off tomorrow!

The office was scattered as the process of us moving was beginning to take it’s toll. So it was tuck down to work with the database as letters were sent back to the office. Don’t be fooled by the suroundings because the organisation has been around for 10 years and have approximately 3,000 people on their database!Β

Working wouldn’t be fun without a bit of music? Looks like Sarah and I share something in common. πŸ™‚

Oh, did I mention about the Community Cafe?
